‘Defrost Your Swimsuit’ Campaign Advances to National Addy Awards

Fort Lauderdale based integrated marketing agency Starmark continues to steal the show in the annual ADDY awards. This time the agency’s Defrost Your Swimsuit campaign won the district awards and has advanced to the national competition. National winners will be announced June 5, 2012 at a ceremony in Austin, TX.

“Winning this recognition is icing on the cake to an already successful campaign,” said Starmark President Jacqui Hartnett. “Defrost Your Swimsuit adheres to our mantra that it’s gotta be good, it’s gotta be fun and it’s gotta be profitable.”

Defrost Your Swimsuit is a guerilla marketing campaign for client Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Starmark encased swimsuits in solid blocks of ice and enticed locals in Toronto, London and Manhattan to defrost their swimsuit and head to sunny Fort Lauderdale.

Starmark won a total of eight ADDYs and Best of Show at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale ADDYs in March.

The ADDYs are the largest creative competition in the country with over 40,000 local entries competing in 200 markets coast to coast. Over 1,500 national finalists will compete in the National ADDY awards.
