On January 23rd, Starmark client the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB) launched their weeklong “Sunny in the City” campaign in Manhattan. Complete with more than 300 taxi toppers; a Times Square billboard; the Beachmobile and 10 wrapped, flip flop-topped SUVs, this was a full-force push in NYC, Greater Fort Lauderdale’s top feeder market.

Like you, I’m sure, we’re glad 2009 is coming to a close and we look forward with great optimism to 2010.
Now that I’m into my sixth month at Starmark, I thought I’d introduce you to our agency and the talented integrated team I’m now part of. As we propel forward into 2010, I’d like to share this newsletter as part of our efforts to keep you aware of who we are and what our talented teams are up to. As agency of record for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Starmark was able to “wow” the client with the possibilities scan tags can provide. Select ads from the 2010 Greater Fort Lauderdale campaign will now feature a snap tag, which is a small graphic square resembling a colorful bar code.
