The Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana held its official Grand Opening at the end of August and it was nothing short of Slime-tastic!
The 3-day celebration highlighted all of the Nickelodeon themed experiences, showing the world how you merge 5-star luxury with infinite play. Throughout their stay, guests indulged in the best of both worlds—luxury and playfulness from beautiful cocktail parties to walking the Orange Carpet.

Guests also enjoyed gourmet breakfasts with characters: SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When guests weren’t indulging in the gourmet cuisine from Karisma’s award-winning Gourmet Inclusive® Experience, they were exploring Nickelodeon Place and getting “slimed” at Aqua Nick. Definitely a must on our bucket list!
And, if that’s not enough, the resort debuted the world’s first-ever Pineapple Villa. That’s right! It’s inspired after none other than SpongeBob’s home in Bikini Bottom. The Villa has two bedrooms and three bathrooms, modern amenities and luxurious accommodations. Needless to say, they brought to life our childhood fantasies of visiting 124 Conch Street!
