Starmark International, a full-service corporate branding and marketing communications firm, held its 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive Thursday, December 12, giving clients, agency staff and friends the opportunity to make Holiday dreams come true for kids enrolled at Fort Lauderdale’s Jack & Jill Children’s Center.
The toy drive was held in conjunction with Starmark’s annual Holiday Party at the agency’s downtown Fort Lauderdale headquarters. More than 200 partygoers joined in the giving.
Sharing with those who are less fortunate is the most precious gift of the holiday season, says Starmark’s CEO, Dan Estes. It was a wonderful experience to join with friends, colleagues and clients in a celebration that makes such a big difference for so many.
Founded in 1942 by the Junior League of Fort Lauderdale, Inc., the Jack and Jill Children’s Center, previously Jack and Jill Nursery, is a private, non-profit corporation that makes affordable and superlative child-care a reality for low-income families. Through the help of the Jack and Jill Scholarship Program and the government’s Family Central assistance program, these families are able to pay for day care, nutrition and developmental programs. The enrollment fee even covers special event nights for the entire family.
